Four STEM Spaces Designed for Learning You Can Experience

On December 5, 2025, something more than just new classrooms was opened at Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov Secondary School in the town of Shabla.
Three newly built STEM rooms for biology, chemistry, and physics are now places where science can be touched, tested, and felt.
Where learning becomes an adventure — not just notes on a board.

For us at Love 2 Design this is a project of continuity and growth.

It began in 2019, when we designed the school’s first STEM room — dedicated to LEGO robotics. In 2020, the idea turned into reality.
Then in 2023, we created the design for three more STEM environments — laboratories where natural sciences come to life.

And today — they are here.
Four modern STEM spacesthat will serve generations of students to come.

The opening event was emotional for teachers and students alike, who were the first to try the new learning environments through hands-on experiments.

Smart design. Real use.

When designing the spaces, we focused on one key question:
How will students truly use this environment — every day, in every class?

That’s why each room has a clear purpose:

  • Lecture Room — for theory, presentations, and discussions
  • Science Lab — for experiments, observation, and working with equipment
  • Makerspace — for creativity, engineering thinking, and exploration
  • Robotics Room — for technology, programming, and working with machines

All spaces encourage movement, teamwork and active learning, while giving teachers freedom and comfort in their work.

Why this project matters

The school now has a sustainable environment that will evolve alongside its students.
Technology becomes a natural part of the learning process. Education feels more connected to real life.

These rooms offer more than equipment — they create a learning atmospherewhere curiosity grows every day.

Meaningful change happens through partnership

This project was realized with the support of Shabla Municipality as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
We are grateful for the trust and collaboration at every stage.

And now — the most important part

We built the framework.
Now students and teachers will bring it to life.

We believe that good design makes a real difference — especially where the future is being shaped.
And we will continue creating spaces where children learn with purpose… and with joy.
